Client meetings, dictation, briefings — all straight into Word.
It doesn't replace certified court transcription, but it gives you back the hours you lose on everything else: client interview transcripts, dictated drafts, briefings with associates, internal recordings. A draft ready in minutes, on servers in the European Union.
It used to steal your hours. Now it gives you time back.
2-hour client meeting = 2 hours retyping it afterwards
2-hour client meeting = 12 minutes and a Word draft ready
Manual dictation slows down the whole morning
Dictate the draft as you speak, correct it on the page
Firm meetings with no written record
Briefing transcribed and filed, shareable with the team
Not a transcript.
A professional report.
From an hour-long hearing or deposition recording, the Structured Document produces a working draft that's already organised: summary, key points, sections, legal references and highlighted data — citations, dates, amounts — and a final glossary.
The AI recognises that it's a deposition, a hearing or a client consultation, and organises the content the way a colleague at the firm would structure it.

Built for your workflow.
Word draft ready to edit
Formatted output with headings, paragraphs and speakers already labelled. Your assistant only does the quick final edit.
Renameable speakers in the dashboard
'Attorney' becomes your name, 'Client' is renamed (or anonymised). The final file is already clean enough to circulate at the firm.
EU servers, no training
Files stay in the European Union, encrypted, and are never used to train models. On request we sign a standard DPA as data processor.
How it works — in 4 steps.
No installs, no plugins. Open your browser and go.
- 1
Record the meeting
Even with a phone on the table or a voice recorder. Verlio handles real-world audio, not just studio recordings.
- 2
Upload to Verlio
Drag-and-drop, up to 500 MB per file. Even 3 hours of meetings in a single go.
- 3
The AI separates attorney and client
Speaker recognition, timestamps, legal terminology spelled correctly. From 5 minutes per hour of audio.
- 4
Edit and file
Correct the parties' names in the dashboard, export the .docx, file it in the matter. Delete from Verlio whenever you like.
When you really need it.
Client interviews
The draft of the client interview instantly becomes a concise memo for the file.
Dictating drafts and opinions
Dictate the opinion as you speak, revise on the draft. Faster than typing, more accurate than your operating system's voice dictation.
Firm briefings
Internal meetings between colleagues, kick-offs on a new matter, debriefs after a hearing.
Voice notes on the go
The audio you record between appointments becomes structured text, not notes to decipher.
It's not just transcription
No more replaying the audio and typing everything up by hand. Upload your file and within minutes you have the document ready to deliver — with speakers identified and terminology done right.

Questions we hear often.
Can I use Verlio to transcribe wiretaps or documents to be filed with the court?
+
No. Verlio is a productivity tool for internal firm use. For wiretaps, forensic audio analysis and transcripts with evidentiary value in court, you need a certified court reporter or sworn expert producing an official transcript. Verlio saves you hours on everything else: meetings, briefings, dictation, internal organisation.
Does my client's data stay confidential?
+
Files travel encrypted (TLS in transit, AES at rest) and are hosted on servers in the European Union. They are never used to train third-party models. You can delete any transcript at any time from the dashboard. On request we sign a standard EU Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
Can I anonymise the parties' names before export?
+
Yes. After transcription, in the dashboard, you can rename the speakers (e.g. 'Client' → 'John Doe') and edit the text manually before downloading the final file. The exported Word document will already be anonymised.
How accurate is it on legal language?
+
Standard spoken language is transcribed with over 95% accuracy under normal conditions. For specific legal terminology (statute citations, formal phrases, Latin terms) we recommend attaching a reference PDF to your first file — the AI will learn the vocabulary of your particular matter. The final document is always editable in the dashboard.
Does it work with phone recordings or Teams/Zoom?
+
Yes, we accept any audio or video format — pocket recorders, Teams files, Zoom, WhatsApp Web, speakerphone. The only caveat is that the recording must have been made in compliance with applicable law (consent of the parties where required).
How much does it cost to transcribe a 1-hour meeting?
+
1 hour = 2 credits, which is about €1.80 with the Pro pack (€9 for 10 credits = 5 hours of audio). For a firm with 10–15 hours of recordings per month, that's roughly €18–27 with Pro, or €15–23 with the Studio pack (€15 for 20 credits = 10 hours) — versus the dozens of hours you or your assistant currently spend replaying and retyping.
Verlio is a productivity tool for law firms. It is not a substitute for certified transcription produced by a sworn expert or court reporter for documents with evidentiary value in court (wiretaps, forensic audio reports, filed exhibits). Use remains the professional's responsibility.
